The original orientation could have been better geared to my level of age and knowledge. I did not know ahead of time that schools were on the long summer break and the pre-school I was assigned was in the introduction period with parents and students. Overall the experience was excellent but the placement could use a little more organization for the volunteers.Country
The country is beautiful and the people I encountered were all very friendly. There was a lot to do and the tours I went on were excellent.
Project & Staff
The project was fine but I would have liked more involvement in the day to day activities. The staff was very helpful and made the experience easy to prepare for.
Tips
I would be sure the volunteer experience is set and times are very clear as to when you will be at the experience location.
